This is the second time here and I am sure a third is in the future. Several camping areas have recently been updated and they are very nice. The staff is friendly and helpful and the place was very clean. The location is perfect for events at the speedway and the area has lots of amenities and things to do. As a few have mentioned, due to the location with minimal acreage, the layout is unique, but if you can back-up and handle a trailer well it is not difficult to get around. The sites compared to other campgrounds are “smallish”, but you don’t feel like you are on top of each other and our unit was 45’. Road traffic as folks have noted is high, but its location and a sleeping noise maker offset the inconvenience.

Beautiful little campground we return to multiple times a year! Always find the staff amazing and accommodating above and beyond! Bathroom house are clean and secure…..laundry room is great! We are loving the updates !! 😍

Stayed for 3 nights for the Spring Rod Run. They are very accommodating and easy to work with. The camping spot was perfect for us and our needs. Bathroom/shower were very clean. There is only 2 shower for men and 2 for women, but since most people seem to use their showers in their big rvs it was no issue for us using the showers when we wanted to. Yes it is close to the airport and close to major roads but the noise was not an issue for us. We will be back again for Turkey Rod Run.

What you can easily know before you book - this campground is close to a busy road and the airport and you get all the noise you would expect from both. And there are no amenities beyond the basics. We booked based on location and hoped for the best. What we couldn't imagine - the facilities were clean and the staff were the nicest! The not so good - on our first night, one of the sewer lines backed up and was gushing out of an open pipe on an adjacent site. By day two, we were very aware of two dogs (at one of the permanent sites) that never stopped barking. non stop all day, every day. And then we had daily clean up from the feral cats that decided to make our RV a territorial battle. Every night, the cats marked our tires. We have 2 dogs and couldn't sit outside with them because of the smell (they would otherwise ignore the cats). We were told that one of the permanent residents traps the feral cats, has them neutered and returned to the campground. If you know cats, you know that where they are fed becomes their territory to defend. Before leaving, we had to wash all our blocks before stashing in our RV.
